The Story So Far

1997-2005

Pune, IN

Born and raised around trees, hills, and grandparents.

2013-2017

Mumbai, IN

Eager to leave school, I worked my butt off to get into St. Xavier's, Mumbai for jr. college and university. There I learned to learn and discovered my aptitude. Embarked on a B.A. in Economics, Statistics and Ancient Indian Culture.

2018-19

Mumbai/Delhi,IN,

I returned interested in Tech and Entrepreneurship.

I used my last year of college to -
- Major in Economics

- Do an internship at an early stage Start-up

- Gain deferred admission to the Indian School of Management (YLP '19)

- Try my hand at business (selling handmade lampshades)

I moved to BLR in Sept 2019 to start my first job at CRED.

2005-2013

Mumbai, IN

Moved to a military cantonment, enrolled in a public school. Struggled academically but participated in 100s of extra curriculars, student council etc

2017-2018

Lille, FR +9

2 years into my degree, I still felt unsure of what I wanted to do next. To stall (and see the world), I went on a 1 year exchange to IESEG School of Management where I ate a lot, travelled a lot and studied a little.

Product & Growth

CRED

Why I chose to work there:

At the start of my career, I wanted to learn how strong consumer tech products are built and scaled, even before I knew which sector I wanted to specialize in.

What I did there:

I worked closely with product, engineering, and data teams on a core growth surface of the app. The role gave me early exposure to experimentation, user behavior analysis, and the operational side of shipping product features at scale.

This experience built my foundation in product thinking and data-informed decision-making.

Why I moved on:

The pandemic made me reflect on impact, and I chose to move toward work that aligned more closely with education and learning.

Openhouse

Why I chose to work there:

Openhouse stood out for its strong values around learning design and inclusion, especially during a time when education was being rapidly disrupted.

What I did there:

I worked on both operational and growth challenges during a rapid shift from offline to online learning. I helped rebuild internal systems, supported demand generation, and experimented with community-driven and content-led growth channels.

This role helped me understand the realities of scaling education marketplaces and the trade-offs between growth, quality, and consistency.

Why I moved on:

I decided to stay in EdTech but move toward product-led models that offered more control over the learning experience

DIY.org (Kyt Academy)

Why I chose to work there:

DIY.org was a product I had loved for years, and it sat at the intersection of creativity, technology, and learning for kids. Joining the team felt like a natural step in building meaningful products for young learners.

What I did there:

I worked across the full growth funnel, from acquisition and onboarding to retention and pricing. My focus was on understanding how kids and parents behaved differently and designing experiences that worked for both.

I led the launch of new offerings, built creator and community-driven growth channels, and helped take an early-stage product to a more mature, scalable growth phase across both consumer and educator audiences.

Why I moved on:

After the company was acquired, I felt ready to bring my learning into a new chapter.

Narrative 4

Why I chose to work there:

I wanted to understand how education systems work across different countries and learn from an international team of former educators, while helping a mission-driven organization adapt to a more digital future.

What I did there:

I led growth and digital strategy during a pivotal transition from in-person programming to a digital-first model. My work spanned content, fundraising, live events, and platform development, helping turn a decade-old nonprofit into a more scalable, online organization.

I worked closely with leadership and regional teams to align storytelling and execution, launching new digital learning experiences, strengthening the organization’s brand, and supporting long-term sustainability through digital campaigns.

Why I moved on:

I started my MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management
